African Swine Fever (Fr.: peste porcine africaine) - the signs and mode of transmission
African Swine Fever is a viral infection similar to Classical Swine Fever that affects all swine. The diagnosis between these two diseases can only be confirmed by laboratory testing. The disease remains present in Africa, having been eliminated in the Caribbean . A small focus exists on the island of Sardinia . This disease has never been reported in Canada .
